Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Miyoni ("Miyoni", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use Smartbase at https://smartbase.de5.net and the related Auth & Email platform (together, the "Service"). Contact: emalawi19@gmail.com.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture address and a Google account identifier through Google Sign-In. If you create an account with a username and password, we store your username, email and a salted hash of your password (never the password itself).

Content you store. Databases, table definitions, records, SQL statements you run, and files you upload. This is your content and we use it only to provide the Service to you.

API keys and settings. We store a hash of each API key, its type and when it was created or last used, along with your plan and settings.

Usage and technical information. Request logs and audit entries, including the type of operation, the database involved, a shortened copy of the SQL, success or failure, timing, and approximate location (country, region, city) provided by Cloudflare. Our hosting provider also processes your IP address and browser information to deliver and protect the Service. We use rate-limit counters to prevent abuse.

Auth & Email platform. For developers: project names, websites, settings, and credentials you provide (for example Google client secrets, Smartbase API keys and gateway secrets), which are encrypted before storage. For visitors of a developer's website who sign in with Google: name, email, profile picture address, Google account identifier, sign-in times, and, if the developer enables account control, a hashed identifier of the visitor's browser or device. For email broadcasts: recipient email addresses and names, and whether and when a message was sent, opened or unsubscribed (we use a small tracking image to detect opens).

Cookies and browser storage. We use a login session (a cookie or local browser storage) to keep you signed in, and preferences such as the theme. The Smartbase sign-in script on a developer's website may store a random device identifier in local storage and a first-party cookie.

2. How we use information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your stored content for advertising.

3. Who we share information with

We use service providers to run the Service: Google (Google Sign-In, Gmail for sending email, Google Fonts), Cloudflare (hosting, networking and databases) and Hugging Face (private cloud storage for databases and files). If you connect your own external storage, such as Backblaze B2, your files go to the account you configured. Providers process information only to provide their services. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of users and the Service.

If you are a developer who uses Smartbase to sign in visitors of your own website, you decide how that visitor data is used and stored (for example in your own database or on your own server), and you are responsible for informing your visitors and following the laws that apply to you.

4. Storage, security and retention

Data is protected in transit with HTTPS, access is checked on every request, passwords and API keys are stored as hashes, and sensitive credentials are encrypted. A small number of authorized Miyoni administrators can access operational data to run, support and secure the Service. No online service can be completely secure, so please protect your login and API keys.

We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. Our cloud storage keeps version history, so deleted content can remain in earlier versions for a period before it is removed.

5. International processing

Our providers operate in several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live.

6. Your choices and rights

You can view and change your content in the dashboard, delete databases and files, revoke API keys, and ask us to delete your account. Email emalawi19@gmail.com to ask for access, correction, export or deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. We aim to reply within 30 days. Email recipients can unsubscribe from broadcasts using the link in each message.

7. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Public pages and web crawlers

This Privacy Policy, the About page, the Terms of Service and the documentation are public. Search engines, AI assistants and other crawlers may read them. Private areas of the Service, including the API and your dashboard, require authentication and are not meant to be crawled.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the Service or by email.
